Description
The red here is not smooth. The paste, grooves, and a subtle opening in the surface transform the paint into a wall or a door that won’t open. The inner rectangle keeps the image still; the black frame separates it from the space. The viewer is meant to feel the warmth of the paint, the weight of the material, and the silence that emanates from the red.
