The world of surrealism has always fascinated me. Salvador Dalí, that crazy, amazing painter. Only he could see the world depicted in his paintings. No one else could understand his world. Only he could understand it. And today, we can only watch how his world has changed over the years. And that’s exactly how I feel, too. My world is different from that of many people: “In my world, the sky is purple and the grass is blue.” And that’s exactly how it is. My world is both a beautiful oasis of calm and a mad chaos. Take a look at my paintings. There you’ll see my world—what I see with my own eyes. You can sit in my chair and look at the world of Nicole Labbe. But I have one more thing in common with Salvador: I, too, am crazy. Dark colors, solitude, and tranquility. My work: Artist, painter, actress. That’s how you could describe it. Others would probably call it that. I call it crazy, wild, hedonistic. I tip my hat in a deep bow, as if after a theater performance. Welcome to my world, welcome to Labi.
