Miroslav Kotora was born in Košice in 1968, graduated from the Faculty of Civil Engineering at the Technical University of Košice, and works as a designer. Despite his technical background, he has always been drawn to art, to which he has devoted himself fully since 2011. As a self-taught artist, he has developed a distinctive style that has resonated with both the general public and experts. His paintings bear the hallmarks of European Expressionism, characterized by energy, vibrant colors, and balanced composition. His original artistic expression has earned him recognition at prestigious exhibitions in Slovakia, Prague, and Poland. In addition to art, he is a passionate athlete and is also actively involved in local politics in his hometown.
