Tanja Frost
Slovensko 🇸🇰
Tanja Frost is a Slovak painter. She paints in oils on canvas, primarily landscapes, forests, water, and flowers. In her work, she combines realistic detail with an Impressionist atmosphere. Before devoting herself fully to painting, she worked as a design engineer in the aviation industry. After moving to Central Europe, she graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Bratislava.
She draws her inspiration from nature: light on water, the silence of the forest, and the landscape as it changes throughout the day and across the seasons. Peonies, meadows, and still lifes are common motifs. The paintings are oil on canvas and signed by the artist.Between 2019 and 2025, she exhibited at more than 15 exhibitions, including in Paris, London, Prague, and Switzerland. In 2025, she was part of the exhibition *Botanical Pulse* at the Art Vojage gallery. Her works have also appeared at auctions.
At Original Gallery, her paintings are available for sale in both smaller formats and larger canvases. Selected works are shown below; the complete selection is listed here.
