(*1956, Bratislava) lives and works in Trnava. He is based in London (UK), from where he coordinates his international activities.
After studying at a technical college, he worked as a teacher in secondary and high school. He taught vocational subjects and later also computer science. He is currently working as a computer specialist at the University of St. Cyril and Methodius (UCM) in Trnava.
For almost 40 years of his life, he has devoted himself to fine arts and artistic photography alongside his work. Since 1988 he started to use the computer as a means (medium) for graphic creation, as his education and work are related to computer science. However, these works were mainly focused on promotion, documents for the press and later for advertising purposes in his own computer company.
Over the last 25 years, digital technology - both software and hardware - has improved greatly, and so this type of medium has come to be used not only for drawing, but also for creating many styles of painting techniques using a variety of support materials. As an example of his digital work, his paintings can be found on several portals around the world, such as Redbubble, Pixels, Saatchi Art, and Fineart America (https://online-gallery.shop).
His work is dominated by visual imagery and opinion through shapes and colors in the form of abstract paintings. Sometimes he uses a photograph as a color base for a new image (called a dot-graphic), which he further processes with software so that the original image is no longer identifiable. Simply put, a new image is created... The second group of images is so-called vector graphics, in which the resulting image is created by composing lines and layers (sometimes up to a thousand) into the resulting image. Many millions of shades of colour can be achieved using colour gradients. This is then very demanding for the final processing - printing, which is carried out exclusively in specialised workplaces and has to meet very high requirements for quality, durability and resistance. Various materials are used as a substrate, for example paper, canvas, wood, aluminium, etc. Original paintings come with a certificate with a hologram, which is also on the back of the painting. It has a unique number which is registered in a worldwide database. This means that anyone can check on the relevant website whether such an image exists, what it looks like, what it is printed on, or the name of the owner of the image may also be listed there.
Most recently, he has been experimenting with a 3D effect based on processing the image in multiple layers, which is applied to a plate with microspheres (lenticules)...
