In the upper right corner of the page you will find your name under which you registered. Click on it and your personal page will appear where you can add, edit or remove your work. As well as your personal information. Another way is in the footer, where you have a link in the paragraph for buyers and also for artists called "Account Settings".
Each artist determines the price of their own works. If he is not sure, he can use our assessment.
The pricing of artworks is generally a very complicated area. Many factors influence the price, starting with the quality of the work, uniqueness, the name and familiarity of the artist or technique, dimensions or durability of the material.
In any case, you don't need a business license. It's your own creation, your intellectual property, and you don't need such permission for that.
All works that an artist uploads to their gallery are subject to an approval process first, which takes a matter of hours, up to a maximum of 24 hours from the time the work is uploaded. Once approved, the image is immediately displayed on the Original Gallery website. In the case of a work for sale with a listed price, it is also automatically displayed on the Homepage in the NEW column and remains there until other newly added works are removed.
All photographed works are photographed by the artists themselves, nowadays, when digital camera is already built into most mobile phones, it is common to take photos of your own works in this way. It is important to add, however, that the quality and settings of the computer monitor, the lighting conditions, the environment in which the work is photographed - and we cannot control this ourselves. For more information about photography, see the footer under FOR ARTISTS, or click here on "How to photograph a work".
Artists from outside the country can also exhibit and sell at the Original Gallery. Another difference is the shipping of artwork and bank fees, both of which are more expensive for artists or collectors from abroad.
In any case, it is always better to edit the work (especially a painting or photograph) so that only the work itself is visible. Any extra setting is distracting and changes the space for the viewer to see. There are very simple editing tools today, so it's good to think about how you present your work.
From the analyses of Original Gallery, we can see that the greatest number of views are given to works that have been on the Homepage for a long time, i.e. they are in the FAVORITE section. Share the address of your virtual gallery on your social networks (you can find it in your profile on the top right) or a link to a specific work.
Another factor is stories, they sell. Think carefully about the description of your work. Why and when it was created, what you want to say with it, etc. Works "with a story" are in greater demand.
We try to dispatch orders as soon as possible, but no later than 15 working days from receipt of payment you can collect the work in person or have it sent at your own expense to the address you have provided.
Of course, please contact us. If at least possible, we will accommodate you.
Every piece goes through our inspection, but damage may still occur on the way to you. Carriers do their best to secure the delivery, but there is still the human factor. If there is something wrong with the piece upon delivery, do not accept it! The carrier you have chosen is responsible for the safety of the transport of the work and any damage caused must be reported to them without delay.
Artworks must be stored in favourable conditions where there are no extreme temperatures or significant fluctuations in temperature and humidity (e.g. bathroom).
