Description
Peonies in Full Bloom. Realism. The Tones of Flowers and Leaves. Oil on canvas, 40 × 40 cm
The square frame captures a close-up of peonies in full bloom. This realistic painting captures the volume of the blossoms and that brief abundance that quickly fades in the garden. The peonies are a small section of the flowerbed that remains unchanged throughout the week. The viewer is meant to sense the scent, the weight of the flower, and the tranquility of the still life.
