An abstract work based on layering, texture, and traces of the material, reminiscent of the surface of an old concrete wall marked by the passage of time. Cracks, grooves, embossed fragments, and irregular lines create a sort of archaeology of memory—a record of events that can no longer be precisely identified, yet whose traces remain present.
The muted palette of black, gray, and earthy tones is disrupted by subtle rust-colored accents that infuse the cool composition with a sense of inner warmth and life. The work plays on the contrast between the raw nature of the material and the fragility of memory. Concrete Memory can thus be perceived as a metaphor for time: the surface changes, deteriorates, and ages, yet at the same time preserves the memory of what it has endured.
