An expressive figurative-abstract work in which the monumental form of a winged insect transforms into a symbol of silence, transformation, and inner strength. The symmetrical composition has an almost ritualistic quality; the wings create a protective space around the central axis, evoking at once a butterfly, a dragonfly, and an imaginary totem.
