SHADOW WINGS explores the tension between light and darkness, fragility and strength. At the center of the composition, a hint of a winged or organic form emerges from layers of color, textures, and dynamic lines. Here, the wings need not represent only freedom; they can also symbolize shadow, memory, protection, or an inner struggle.
Earthy gold, black, and gray tones are disrupted by intense blue-turquoise accents, which infuse the painting with energy and a sense of light penetrating the dark structure. Layering, gestural brushstrokes, and the contrast between subtle details and expressive surfaces create an impression of constant movement and transformation.
The work leaves room for the viewer’s own interpretation; within the abstraction, one can discover wings, a mask, a body, or a fragment of an unknown being. Shadow Wings can thus be understood as a metaphor for transformation and hidden power, which is born precisely at the boundary between light and shadow.
