Description
From the series “Form and Presence.” At the edge of a room composed entirely of solid-color planes—ultramarine, ochre yellow, and green—stands a pale, faceless figure. Behind it stands a house that retains its shape without any details: a window, a bench, a door—everything is discernible only as a meeting of color with color.
The panel was primed with gesso before painting, and the brushstrokes are clearly visible on this surface—the finish remains textured and uneven rather than smooth. The color palette is bold and does not give way to anything more subtle.
