In this work, shapes meet that seem to delimit space for one another – each stands firmly in its place, yet at the same time responds to the others. The dominant orange triangle enters the calm structure of blue surfaces like a sudden gust of energy, while the dark circle at the bottom grounds and slows the image. The whole composition feels as if it captured the moment just before change: a moment of tension between stability and movement. The artist works with color very sparingly, but with a precision that allows the viewer to perceive
