Description
For me, this work represents a profound personal insight into the themes of contrasts, light, and shadow that shape our lives. I wanted to capture a moment of balance between chaos and calm, between a solid foundation and absolute lightness. I perceive the dominant silver-gray stream, which cuts vertically through the deep black background, as the flow of time or a fateful journey.
Three-dimensional white elements—petals, droplets, or fragments of memories—float within this space. Some are firmly anchored in the stream, while others seem to float freely in unknown space. I created each of these sculptural details with an emphasis on tactile texture, allowing the painting to emerge into space and interact with the surrounding light.
While creating this piece, I focused on minimalism in color, but I played with texture all the more. The black background highlights the rougher, grainy surface of the central current and the smooth, protruding white accents. I painted this piece with the vision of bringing modern elegance, dynamism, and a space for quiet contemplation into the interior.
