With this work, I wanted to capture the vibrant yet mysterious atmosphere of a big city at night. I am fascinated by how the urban jungle transforms after dark into a place full of stories that remain hidden behind the illuminated windows. For me, this work represents harmonious chaos. The dense network of buildings and hundreds of lit windows symbolize the thousands of human destinies that intertwine in the city every day.
The dominant shades of purple bring depth, mystique, and a dreamlike visual experience to the composition. What makes this painting unique is the incorporation of an old frame, which I gave a new lease on life and artistically finished myself.
I repainted it in the same color tones, allowing it to blend naturally with the painting. Its original structure and character lend the entire work a unique patina and depth. Here, the frame serves not merely as a simple border but becomes an integral part of the city’s story itself. I believe this painting will bring modern elegance and a touch of magical nighttime atmosphere to your space.
