Description

The upper part of the painting with its dramatic grey-blue clouds feels very dynamic, and the brushstrokes create a sense of motion and an approaching snowstorm. From the orange-red line above the horizon one can feel the last traces of warmth fading away with the oncoming night. The reflection of the trees on the water creates an almost mirror-like effect, and the falling flakes give the painting depth.
