Description

The ship *Odpověď* was no longer in the hangar. The space around it had shifted, and the escape route from the Council Node was no longer in line with its course. Beyond the windows lay not familiar stars, but the first moments of a journey through unknown layers of space.

The image captures precisely this moment. The green, gray, and bright streams are neither nebulae nor atmosphere—they are different ways in which reality can exist at this particular location. The dark areas at the edges resemble the ship’s structure and also suggest that looking out is not entirely safe. The black marks on the surface evoke handprints, silhouettes, or characters of an unknown script. Their position changes whenever the crew looks away.

Jonáš searches for the only star he knows. Nara tries to determine which part of the view belongs to their universe. Neither of them gets an answer. Before them lies no map, only the living call of the W Galaxy and a path that no one has yet charted. Kair, the ship’s quantum consciousness, nevertheless recommends continuing—not because the path is safe, but because it is precisely in the unknown that the answer may lie, one that no one has yet chosen.

For the first time, the crew realizes that the unknown beyond the windows may not be empty. Perhaps it is looking in. A layered technique featuring gestural strokes, the scraping away of colored layers, and imprint-like textures. A contrast of green, gray, black, and muted red tones.
