Painter, graphic designer and photographer.
He received his art education in the studio of ak. painter and sculptor Jaroslav Šindelář and then Jiří Patera, under whose influence he also found the basic theme of his work - the landscape, which he transforms into moremore or less abstracted artistic composition, whose colour surfaces and character motifs, regardless of their constructively stylized form, evoke the space, elements and atmosphere of the landscape. Janouškovec's "compositions" were, especially in the first half of the 1980s, indeed among the most originalThe most original and highest quality pictorial expressions in the Pilsen art scene. Later, Janouškovec's work changed and the constructive basis of his morphology (but always presented with a certain expressiveness) was replaced by a looser organic conception of composition and forms. Nevertheless, it is still the type of "modern landscape" that interests him, combined with the aesthetic impact of the industrial elements present here. Janouškovec starts from the human perception of one's own movement in space; this is then a starting point that can be further transformed into an imaginary "inner landscape".
His works have been presented in more than 40 solo exhibitions around the world (Czech Republic, USA, Belgium, Germany, Holland, etc.), and have also won several international awards, such as 2nd prize at the 4th International Art Competition in Prague. 2.Prize at the Grand International Exhibition "4th IWS INDONESIA EXHIBITION 2022" at the Indonesian National Gallery in Jakarta. The artist's works are represented in a number of public collections at home and abroad, such as. Art Gallery Karlovy Vary, Artotheque of Pilsen, Supreme Administrative Court of the Czech Republic, Office of the Municipal District of Pilsen 3, Best a.s., Invelt Elektro, Financial Office Plzeň město and Plzeň sever, Krijcos a. s., and in a number of private collections both in the Czech Republic and abroad (USA, Canada, Holland, Belgium, Slovenia, Germany, Slovakia).
