Description

A combined layering technique featuring vertical, gestural strokes, the wiping and overlapping of color layers, and, in places, a more pronounced surface texture. Universes do not have to collide to destroy one another.

Sometimes it is enough for them to simply exist in the same place.

The painting captures a rare moment when two realities overlap. The left side belongs to a universe dominated by purple and red structures. The right side belongs to another reality—cooler, greenish-blue, governed by a different arrangement of matter.

There is no sharp boundary in the middle.

Both universes interpenetrate one another.

For a few moments, their physical laws attempt to define the same reality simultaneously. Particles change their properties. Light comes from places that do not exist. Some events have two different causes, and time ceases to flow in the same direction everywhere.

For the heroes, this phenomenon is a fundamental discovery.

For the first time, they obtain proof that the boundaries between universes are not impenetrable. If two realities can overlap for an instant, there must be a mechanism that keeps them separate.

And if this mechanism exists, perhaps someone can control it.

It is then that a question arises which will later change the course of the entire war:

What happens when not just two universes overlap, but all of them?
