Description
It’s not Mona. It’s me, broken down.
The eyes hold the center. The rest of the face is a field of colors that refuse to blend into the skin. The darkness around the head makes the face glow. There’s no smile here. But there is a gaze. From
a distance, a light head in black.
Up close, broad strokes, a yellow bridge of the nose, red in the cheeks.
Into the living room and study. A black wall swallows it. A gray or white one pulls it out.
