When I painted "Young Female Football Players," I wanted to capture more than just the game. I wanted to capture that incredible energy, enthusiasm and concentration radiating from young female athletes. The vivid colors and dynamic brushstrokes were meant to reflect their movement, strength and the rapidly changing emotions on the field. I tried to make the composition both balanced and dynamic, so that the painting would be alive and pulsating, just like the game itself.
