Description
Set against a deep blue background is a white geometric symbol consisting of three horizontal levels. Its structure corresponds to the trigram Zhèn 震—Thunder—from the I Ching, which is associated with movement, impulse, and the beginning of change. The precise geometry of the symbol contrasts with the fluid watercolor background: blurred transitions, dark vertical streaks, and varying intensities of blue create the impression of a space in constant motion.
A delicate gold outline separates the character from the blue field, while a white and red framing system encloses the composition within a distinct symbolic space. The work is built on the relationship between an unchanging structure and a changing environment: the symbol defines the inner principle of the composition, while the watercolor field develops it through rhythm, direction, and movement.
Watercolor and acrylic. For a study or bedroom. It calls for a calm wall. In the evening, the blue deepens; the emblem remains sharp.
