Description

Against a shifting dark purple background is depicted a golden symbol constructed on a single horizontal base and three vertical axes. Its structure references the shape of the Chinese character 山—“mountain”—in which the central peak rises above the two side peaks. Each axis ends in a circle with a golden center, transforming the image of the mountain into a symbolic cosmological structure. The central axis becomes the dominant element of the composition and defines the movement from the base to the highest point.

The motif of the mountain opens up several interconnected layers of meaning. In Chinese tradition, the mountain is associated with stability, solitude, and a space for spiritual practice; in a yogic interpretation, the vertical structure resonates with the concept of the central channel, sushumna, and the two lateral channels, ida and pingala. The mountain motif naturally evokes Kailash. At the same time, the three peaks allow the symbol to be perceived as an image of the Trinity—three interconnected forces emanating from a single foundation.

The fluid watercolor field surrounding the geometric symbol creates a contrast between the ever-changing environment and the stable structure. The purple gradients form an indeterminate space at the boundary between sky, fog, and inner landscape, while the golden geometry maintains the compositional center. The blue, white, and gold framing separates this space from its surroundings and lends the work the character of an autonomous, symbolic, and meditative object.
