Meditative Object N°07 (Meditative Object No. 07)

Description

Three dark blue circles are clustered within a space of orange, golden, and blue-green gradients. Their vertical arrangement forms the inner axis of the composition and sets a calm, contemplative rhythm. The rich blue lends the shapes depth and weight, while the translucent layers of watercolor around them create a shifting environment suffused with light.

The shared color unifies the circles, while differences in their outlines lend each one a distinctive character. At the edges of the shapes, the pigment bleeds into the surrounding area, connecting the concentrated center with the whole.

A subtle border and the white space define the painting’s autonomous space.

Within this space, the viewer’s gaze moves between dark focal points and light areas, following the color transitions and returning to the central vertical axis. Upon contemplation, the painting’s inner rhythm is gradually revealed: related shapes retain their own character while simultaneously forming a unified whole.
